Alpha
Explore life with Alpha at East Mains. The current course started on Wednesday 21 January 2009. The Alpha course is a thirteen-week course held on Wednesday evenings between 7 and 9.30 pm in East Mains Baptist Church.
Each session starts with a light supper and then a speaker addresses questions of life, such as 'Who is Jesus?' 'Why did Jesus die?' 'What does the Holy Spirit do?' 'Is the bible reliable?'
You then have your chance to discuss the topic in small groups letting you challenge, question and explore the issues raised.
This is a really informal introduction to the Christian faith and allows you to explore life with like minded individuals.
